Luther McClain

Luther R. McClain is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana where he studied and gained experience in the financial services industry. As an analyst with a local boutique investment advisory firm, Mr. McClain was responsible for the research, due diligence, and managing of assets with a book value of approximately $400 million. He was an integral part of the firm’s rigorous investment management process. Previously, Mr. McClain also served as a financial advisor with a leading global wealth management firm where he attained the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Building lasting business relationships with affluent individuals, institutional investors, and asset managers were among the critical responsibilities in his past positions.

Prior to starting his finance career, Mr. McClain served as operations manager for one of the largest hotel services companies in the country for 10 years. He played a valuable role in transforming and growing the New Orleans division into a multimillion-dollar arm of the company.

Mr. McClain earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of New Orleans and his Masters of Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, where he participated in the nationally recognized Burkenroad Reports Program. Mr. McClain’s civic contributions include membership in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. which enables him to serve in volunteer roles for a diverse cross-section of charitable and nonprofit organizations. He spends much of his free time with his wife, Jessica, and sons, Jeremiah and Jordan.
