JECohen celebrated the start of National Financial Literacy Month with visits to two local schools. Jarrett Cohen, Principal and CIO, had the pleasure of being a featured speaker during the inaugural Business Week at Dillard University and Career Day at McDonogh 35 Senior High School. Business Week is an event that gives Dillard undergrads of all disciplines an opportunity to hear from professionals. McDonogh 35’s Career Day offered the Class of 2023 the chance to visit with representatives from varying fields and ask their most pressing career questions.

During both addresses, Mr. Cohen shared what led to his interest in to the world of investment management and his path to entrepreneurship. He also discussed the basics of investing, provided insightful examples and answered an array of questions. His parting advice to students was: be curious, be a good person, and start investing early.
